Terms & Conditions

By booking a dumpster rental with Colombo’s Hauling & Recycling, you agree to the following terms and conditions:

Rental Duration Standard rental includes up to 2days. Additional days are $50 per day, based on availability. Unavailable dumpsters on scheduled pickup day may result in extra charges.

A deposit is required at the time of booking to secure the service. This deposit will be applied to the total balance due. If the booking is canceled with less than 24 hours’ notice, the deposit may be forfeited.

Payment Terms Full payment is due at the time of service unless other terms are agreed upon in writing. We accept cash, card, or mobile payment options.

Pricing & Payments Pricing is based on Weight of the material load per Ton (or any portion of a Ton) $150 per ton, plus any fuel or disposal surcharges. Extra fees may apply for certain items (see below).

Extra charges apply for certain dump items: mattresses, appliances, electronics, tires. Fees are based on landfill and recycling surcharges, These are pass-through landfill fees. We do not profit from these charges

PROHIBITED Item:

For safety and legal reasons, the following items are not allowed in any of our dumpsters:

Hazardous materials:
Paint, motor oil, automotive fluids, pesticides, herbicides, cleaning chemicals
Batteries (car, lithium, household)
Flammable or explosive items (propane tanks, fuel, fireworks, ammunition)
Liquids of any kind
Asbestos or asbestos-containing materials
Medical or biohazard waste
Dead animals or organic waste requiring special handling

⚠️ Important:
Disposal of restricted items may result in additional fines, service refusal, or legal penalties. If you're unsure about an item, please contact us before placing it in the dumpster.

• Wet concrete, bricks, or large rocks (unless pre-approved)

Improper disposal may result in additional fees or refusal of pickup

Delivery Conditions Customer must ensure the site is clear, safe, and accessible. $75 trip fee applies if we cannot complete delivery due to access issues. We are not liable for surface damage (driveways, lawns, etc.) unless caused by negligence.

Weight Limit
The trailer has a maximum legal weight capacity of 2 tons. Loads exceeding this limit may be refused at pickup and the customer required to offload material to meet legal limits.

For your convenience, if we haul an overloaded trailer instead of requiring offload, an excess weight charge will apply. This fee covers landfill disposal charges for weight beyond the 2-ton allowance. Charges are calculated per ton (or any portion of a ton) over the limit.

Cancellations & Refunds Full refund if canceled 48+ hours in advance. 50% refund for 24–48 hours notice. No refund for cancellations under 24 hours. See our full Refund Policy for details.

Liability Colombo’s Hauling is not responsible for injuries, damages, or loss due to improper dumpster use, unsafe placement, or failure to follow instructions.

Equipment Use All dumpsters remain property of Colombo’s Hauling & Recycling. Do not move or modify the dumpster. Customer is responsible for any damage or unauthorized relocation.

Governing Law These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California.
